To install the steady stays:
Step 8. Rear view of mount with rubber washers behind the bracket

Step 8a. Measure the distance where the front of the rally style adjustable top stays will be located on the spotlights

Step 8b. Transpose this measurement to the axillary spot light on the other side cowl

Step 9. Using a square, locate the position for the rear of the rally style adjustable top stays fixings on the wing

Step 9b. Transpose this measurement to the wing on the other side cowl

  • Step 9a. Measure the distance where the front stays will be located on the spotlights
  • Step 9a. Using a square, locate the position of the fixings on the wing

Step 10a. Measure up from the bottom of the wing on both sides to get the final height correct

Step 10b. Transpose this measurement to the other side of the cowl on to the wing

Step 11a. Mark all hole positions on both sides

Step 11b. With the holes marked, drill using a pilot drill first; then a full-size drill for all holes

  • Step 10a. Measure up from the bottom of the wing on both sides to get the final height correct
  • Step 11a. Mark all hole positions
  • Step 11b. with the holes marked, using a pilot drill first, then a full size drill for all holes
  • Step 12. Fasten the stays into position

Step 12. Fasten both the stays into position.
